“ I have been coming here for quite a long time. Back when Mike originally owned it and it was like a neighborhood grocery store. Then the next owner did a fabulous job remodeling. But the new owners are amazing people. Paulina in the deli is an absolute sweetheart. I would come in with my dog and she would always give my dog treats. My dog loved her. When my dog recently passed away, she hand-delivered a care package to my front porch with flowers and a stuffed animal that looked just like my dog. These are solid folks. Thank you for being good hearted people. I appreciate you ”
“ I was visiting in Orange this past weekend and my friend and I were craving sandwiches from a non-chain location. We googled and found Palm Market. Super friendly from the moment we walked in. The sandwiches were beyond amazing. They use Boars Head and do not skimp. Bonus was they sell Mela Watermelon drinks! My only complaint is that they are not closer to me in San Diego! ”
“ Friendly, cheerful, and helpful staff welcome you when you come in. They are located in a quiet neighborhood -- used to be a small market. There are several sidewalk tables available if you want to "eat in." The pastrami sandwich is EXCELLENT! I expect to return often. ”
“ Tasty deli in Orange! 5 stars +. Small family deli in the middle of an Orange Neighborhood. We ordered a bunch of different sandwiches and all were top notch! Amazing little find in Orange we highly recommend!! ”
“ From the outside this place looks like a simple neighborhood market, and it is! So when you walk in you notice how clean it is and how organize everything is. When we walked in, Andy, who is in the front told us to go to the kiosk to place the order for our sandwiches, ok we did. We bought some drinks and chips then went to buy everything. Andy, told us they just purchased the place and that yea he lives upstairs. Super cool guy, friendly, attentive and all around good guy. Told us the sandwiches are prep by his gf and that they are good. We got our sandwiches went outside and .... THEY WHERE GOOD! I got the society 6' and it was the perfect size and amount to feel good. We are the canoli afterward and wow. Gooood. There's not enough words to tell you about this place and it should be a trip everyone should do. ”
“ I love a good sandwich!! Especially when they use boards heads.. palm market is a little neighborhood store that has excellent sandwiches!! Tim the owner was super nice!! Parking in the neighborhood can be confusing cause some spots requires permits. I got a large Italian. 19.50 but it was huge. Two of us didn't even finish it. Deli and veggies super fresh. The bread could be better I think. I wish it has more crust to it.. but it wasn't dry .. overall an excellent sandwich but most importantly it was nice to support a hard working mom and pop shop!! ”
“ First time visit to Palm Market and Deli today and it was fantastic. Firstly, there is something so uniquely old fashioned about the whole aesthetic of the market. The surrounding area is also like walking into a time capsule. It all feels so nostalgic. We ordered the Super Bird, the Dean, and The Plaza with a side of Potato Salad. They all got raves from my family. Special mention goes to the customer service that we experienced at the Deli counter. They were so friendly. You will pay a bit more than if you went to one of the standard sandwich joints, but you get what you pay for. The sandwiches that we got at Palm Market & Deli were substantial and so well prepared. Most importantly, they tasted great! Highly Recommended!! ”
“ We came here since we were in the area and this place had a lot of good reviews. We got, "The Society," sandwich. Solid sandwich and great folks that work here. Not sure if the cashier was the owner, but he recommended the "funky fusion," chips over the "voodoo," chips and we agree, it's excellent! Will be adding, "funky fusion," for our rotation of chips from now on. Cheers and I wish nothing but the best for this place. ”
“ Tried the Palm Market for a sandwich (always my "go-to" meal). I was overly impresses with the service (thank you owner Tim!) and the ambiance. Funny that was so reminiscence of back east deli/food locations. Was once a home and now a really neat market. Tim created me a great sandwich - very fresh bread, great meat, cheese, fresh veggies of my choice. First time here so I was amazed at the range of the market itself (wines & beers). Customized sandwich! I will definitely include this on my regular lists of "better" sandwich spots. My only "negative" is that I miss a crusty crust on the bread or a steamed roll (aka Lil Pickle in Costa Mesa). But the sandwich is so fresh! Highly recommended. Great little local spot offering a great sandwich! ”
